I earned my BFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011, then started my career animating on FX’s Emmy-winning series Archer. After three years, I realized I was seeking more complex problems and ownership than the animation industry could offer.
In 2014, that ambition for more ownership, along with my love of travel and language learning, lead me take a chance and cofound a social platform for language learners. As the principal designer and product design lead, I learned entrepreneurship and product design totally from scratch. I was hooked.
Since then, I've cultivated a focus on primarily AI-based products. I’ve designed and shipped experiences across mobile and web, from social apps to business analytics, education, and coaching platforms.
My approach is simple: understand the user, find the problem that matters, build, test, and improve.
I want to make products that make people's lives better, not just the bottom line, because I believe human agency increasing apps actually make better business sense in the log run.
As a design leader, I care just as much about creating strong teams as strong products. I push for thoughtful research, attention to detail, and practical execution, while building a culture where people can do great work while reaching their goals and living their own best life.
I’m most interested in work that has a distinct positive impact on society, especially AI alignment, social welfare, personal well-being, and climate change.
